The shatter box is a device for powdering lithified sediment and rock materials.

Spex Sample Prep Shatterbox 8530

• pulverizes samples up to 100 ml in volume or 100g in weight
• grinding times two to five minutes
• particle grinding size up to 10 μm

The Spex X-Press 3G24BX is for crushing lithified sediment and rock materials. A jaw crusher is also available.

The Buehler Metaserv 250 Grinder Polisher is equipped with a 12 inch platen with various grit sand paper and a diamond pad available for sample preparation.
